  • What do I do if I forget my Password?
    click on ‘Forgot my Password’ under the login screen or call Customer service

    How long does it take to activate my account?
    Activation is immediate for pre-paid services. However our customer service agent would speak to you and confirm the creation of your account.

    When accessing FONE2 account- Operator asks me to enter my account number and PIN,-
    You enter [press] the numbers into the phone using a touch tone phone.

    Invalid PIN?
    You may not be phoning from a touch-tone phone.Please check your phone manual on setting your phone to touch tonePut down the phone and then redial but start by pressing the * button. Once you have pushed the * button your telephone will remain touch-tone. If you want to return to a pulse phone push the * button again after making your call.

    Can I use this service from outside UK?
    No. This service is currently not available from outside UK.

    Is the service available from all parts of UK?
    Yes. This service is available from all parts of UK.

    Can my account be used from payphones?
    Dial the provided 0800 to make telephone calls from any touch-tone telephone in the UK. Some payphones charge to use free phone numbers as in Hotels and Public places. This surcharge is 25p per minute.

    Where can I call using this service?
    You can call all parts of the world from UK.

    Can I call within UK using Fone2?
    Yes. You can within the UK.

    FONE2 – How do I pay online with no debit or card.
    Yes, you can use the following as methods of payment: cheque, debit card and postal order. The minimum amount that you can open an account with is £15.

    Dialing the account number and PIN can be time consuming, is there a quicker method of making a call?
    Yes, it is called Call Line Identity [CLI]. By registering your allocated phone number/s with FONE2 - you simply dial the access number and we will connect you to our network without you having to enter your account number and PIN.

    Is there a warning if credit levels on the account are almost used up?
    Yes, there will be 3 warning messages before you finally run out of call credit on your account. If your balance reaches zero whilst you are on a call, you will automatically be connected to Customer Care to top-up your account.

    Can this account be used for local calls and calls to mobiles?
    You can use your FONE2 to make calls to local, national and international destinations as well as calls to mobile telephones.

    Are there any low user surcharges?
    No. There are no low user surcharges.

    Can I still save money on phone calls using a Mobile phone?
    This depends on the package that you have signed up with your provider. If you have a package with free minutes, then using you free minutes you will save on international calls, if the access number is a local number that you use when accessing our network. If in doubt please check with customer service or Please refer to your network provider exact cost on calls originating from their networks

    Do calls made from UK mobiles attract a surcharge?
    Mobile networks may charge for 0800 calls. Please contact Customer Care or your mobile network for further details on mobile access.
